Gareth Bale SCORES in his Real Madrid debut to make a dream start in Spain

Gareth Bale has scored in his first Real Madrid appearance since his world-record transfer, starting on the right-wing in the Spanish giants' clash against Villarreal.
Bale was not deemed fit enough to start either of Wales' World Cup qualifiers earlier this month, but found himself handed a start as part of a three-pronged attack for Real Madrid, despite being tipped to play at left-back.
Despite some decent passes and link-up play with Benzema early on, the Welshman struggled to get into the game.
But Bale showed the sort of form that won him so much praise last season with an easy tap-in to draw Real Madrid level. He then performed his signature celebration.
The former Spurs star admitted earlier in the week that he was lacking match fitness, despite training well over the last fortnight.
He was taken off in the second half and replaced by Angel Di Maria, to applause from the travelling Real Madrid fans for his contribution.
