After Tesco ban, Page 3 girls do the bikini test

IT looks like Tesco have made a boob – by barring shoppers in bikinis.

Despite the scorching weather, the firm’s store in the Cornish resort of Newquay slapped a ban on bare torsos, leaving many locals hot under the collar.

With record high temperatures set for this weekend, Brits are expected to flock to the coast – and they won’t be expecting to have to dress up to pop to the shops.

So to see if the Newquay store chiefs are just being stuffed shirts, we sent our Page 3 girls out in bikinis to try the Tesco test in shops and public buildings nationwide. JENNIFER TIPPETT tells how they got on.
