Drink hot chocolate for rapid muscle recovery

Though you’re unlikely to be handed a cup from your PT, opting forhot chocolate after your workout will reduce the time it takes for yourmuscles to repair.
Scientists analysed the effects of cocoa-based drinkson athletes, specifically football players, after their training. Theywere found to be as effective as the leading branded sports drinksat reducing creatine kinase (responsible for post-workout muscledamage).
It’s thought that cocoa’s lavanoids are responsible. Just callit choc therapy.
