The odd coupling of Jessica Simpson and Billy Corgan isn't real, the Smashing Pumpkins frontman tells the Chicago Tribune.
"The stuff that I've seen doesn't have any bearing to the reality that I'm in," he says, referring to the tabloid tales of love. "It's like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what's really going on or how I feel."
Maybe that explains why he likened the starlet to Jessica Rabbit just before Valentine's.
