Rihanna isn't one for covering up. Her performance wardrobes include spangled bra tops and tiny tasseled miniskirts that quiver with her every move, and she has definitely had a hand in making underwear as outerwear borderline blasé. So it's a surprise to learn that the pop singer hasn't always been confident about her much-beloved body.
In an interview with
Vogue, Rihanna explained that she's only recently embraced the curves for which she's so famous. "Over the holidays, and even during filming [of
Battleship, her upcoming big screen debut], I realized that I actually like my body, even if it's not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy."
