Falta de aire al agacharse: nuevo síntoma que indica la gravedad de la insuficiencia cardíaca

De acuerdo a un estudio realizado en el UT Southwestern Medical Center, en Dallas, Estados Unidos, los pacientes con insuficiencia cardíaca que experimenten falta de aire al agacharse deben reportarlo a su cardiólogo lo antes posible. Este síntoma alerta al médico que la condición se ha ido agravando y hay que realizar cambios en el tratamiento, que pueden incluir el estilo de vida y la medicación.
La función del corazón es bombear la sangre por todo el cuerpo. Pero a veces, ya sea por que la persona tiene otra condición de salud, como diabetes, hipertensión o enfermedad de las arterias coronarias, al corazón se le dificulta cumplir bien con su trabajo.
